Edward J Rochford founded Marina Bay Capital after completing over 25 years with various Investment Banking firms.

In 2007, Ed celebrated his 10th anniversary with Citigroup Global Markets where he was a First Vice President of the Institutional Fixed Income group. Over his career, Ed specialized in both Municipal and Taxable bonds. His accounts included Money Center and Community Banks, Mutual Funds, Asset Management firms, Investment Advisors, Insurance Co's, Credit Unions, and Family offices.

In 2000, Ed worked with the Citigroup team which structured and syndicated the very first Bank Trust Preferred pool. This innovative product became one of Citigroup's most successful platforms before exiting that arena in 2005. From 2000 through 2005, Ed assisted over 40 bank CEO's and CFO's raise approximately $400 million in regulatory capital.

In November 2007, Ed left Citigroup to open Marina Bay Capital to serve the capital needs of the Community Bank market.

In the face of the Recession, given MBC's relationships in the banking community, Ed associated with a group of professionals which represented residential mortgage borrowers in their efforts to reduce their monthly payments. The combination of Ed's knowledge of the banking industry, coupled with Real Estate attorneys and mortgage brokers, has proven to be a powerful team to guide the hard pressed borrowers in these very tough times.
